Crypts of Horus is an exciting multimedia project being simultaneously developed as a Web3 Role-Playing Game (RPG) as well as an animated feature film.
Set on Horus, the outermost planet in the Cryptos Galaxy, the story is heavily inspired by Ancient Egyptian culture.
Setting and Story
Horus is ruled by Pharaoh Teos and is known for its Seven Cities of Gold, each housing immense ancient treasures within sacred crypts. These crypts are constantly targeted by thieves and outlaws from across the galaxy.
An Ancient Secret
Besides gold, Horus is said to be protected by the Eye of Horus, a legendary artifact believed to be the largest diamond in the universe. It supposedly grants protection, health, and restoration, but its existence remains unproven.
The Custodes
To protect the vast wealth, the Pharaoh has assembled the Custodes, an elite team of mercenaries. Handpicked by the Pharaoh, the Custodes are comprised of Horusi, Osirisian, and Anubisanti soldiers. Serving as a Custode is the highest honor on Horus.
THE SYNOD OF RAPACITY
The Synod of Rapacity, known as the Council of Greed and led by a group called The Seven, seeks to conquer the Seven Cities of Gold and steal their treasures. They operate from the hidden ruins of Anubis and are relentless in their pursuit.
OTHER CHARACTERS
Your job is to protect the Seven Cities of Gold from the Evil Overlords and their armies. Find the Book of The Dead to summon the Army of The Dead to help you. Remember to watch out for Predators and, most importantly, don't harm your Sacred Allies.
The GAME
The RPG allows players to embark on their own quests for treasure and glory. Players travel from city to city, battle, and overcome obstacles, to find the Eye of Horus. Advanced AI, NFTs, and Hybrid Web3 provide an immersive experience.
THE ANIMATED FILM
Timbo is an unlikely hero who dreams of becoming a Custode but is relegated to the role of janitor. He and a group of eccentric adventurers are on a quest to find the Eye of Horus, navigating through the Seven Cities of Gold and facing formidable enemies.
